Jamika is passionate about serving our clients and her community as a thought leader and fiduciary. Her passion is reflected in being one of the few African American women who are Certified Financial Planning Practitioners. This platform enables her to connect with others and share her knowledge and experience.
In addition to her role as a trusted advisor, Jamika also helps to develop and create the processes and services we provide our clients.
Previous Roles or Ventures
Prior to joining EQ, Jamika served in a corporate role for a multinational company on the east coast. Locally, she provided insurance-based solutions to help clients solve their risk management and financial planning goals.
Outside the Office
Jamika likes to stay active when she is not at work and serves her community as a basketball coach for Hazen High School and local AAU youth teams. She also enjoys going to the gym or getting outside to hike, run, or take her dog for a drive. She’s an explorer at heart and enjoys traveling to new places.
