Courtney is passionate about educating and empowering clients and is especially enthusiastic about helping to equip women with the tools & understanding needed to identify and work toward their financial goals. She specializes in complex executive compensation packages and helping families navigate life’s financial milestones and challenges.
In addition to her role as a trusted advisor, Courtney helps develop and implement the tools and financial planning processes we provide as part of our financial planning deliverable.
Previous Roles or Ventures
Prior to joining the team at EQ, Courtney spent nearly two decades at Capital Planning, LLC helping executives and managers from some of Seattle’s most recognizable companies achieve their financial goals. While at Capital Planning, Courtney worked closely with both Michael Quigley and Stephen Emanuels. She was integral to Stephen’s work with his clients, for whom she served as lead client service associate. Courtney also worked with Michael Varga to design and implement client service processes at Capital Planning. These long-time connections with members of our team make Courtney a strong addition to EQ.
Outside the Office
When she’s not at work, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. Her family thrives on the energy of sports and Courtney especially enjoys helping with her children’s youth sports activities and assisting her husband in his many coaching duties. She is also active in supporting her children’s school and serves as Treasurer of the Edmonds Elementary STARS Foundation.
